About

Founded by Spotify alumni, Cyclemate is the day-to-day cycling app for cities. We're building an app that encourages the average person (not just cycling enthusiasts) to ditch their cars more and feel great doing it. We are a lifestyle product centered on community, fitness, and the environment with the mission to double the number of cyclists in the US by the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

We’re early-stage startup based in Venice, CA and building a product that makes cycling feel fun, safe, and rewarding.

What you'll do

We’re looking for a highly creative Content Creator to make fun, eye-catching, authentic content for TikTok and Instagram. This is a fun freelance role for someone who thrives on creating wellness/lifestyle content, keeping up with latest trends, connecting with local communities, and meeting new people. You’ll work closely with the founder to capture content, pitch ideas, and build the visual tone of Cyclemate as we grow.

Your work will include:

• Producing short-form videos (mostly TikTok & Reels) 1-2x per week
• Filming IRL in West LA: capturing cyclists, city streets, local events, and interviewing cyclists on the boardwalk
• Editing content quickly using CapCut or similar tools
• Pitching ideas, formats, memes, hooks, and trends
• Capturing the Cyclemate vibe - fun, optimistic, healthy, grassroots, LA

You might be a fit

• You cycle regularly to local spots instead of driving (or want to start doing that)
• Are a creative with strong instincts for short-form video and trends
• Have experience filming and editing TikToks or Reels—especially for brands
• Are involved and up-to-date on local events, as well as wellness and fitness communities (run clubs, racketball tournaments, yoga, etc)
• Have a portfolio or TikTok/IG you’re proud of
• Can move fast, self-direct, and deliver polished work with quick turnarounds
• Are excited to shape the identity of an early-stage brand

• You’ve worked with brands, apps, or local businesses before
• You want to stick around and grow with us as we scale!

Pay

• 10 hours a week
• $30/hour
