About the Role:

The Corporate Reserves Tech is responsible for managing and analyzing reserve data, supporting reserve reporting processes, and providing technical assistance to ensure accurate reserve estimations and compliance with industry standards. The role will require expertise in reserve data management, technical reporting, and collaboration with engineering and finance teams to enhance the accuracy and reliability of reserves information.

Responsibilities:

Reserve Data Management

  • Data Integration & ETL: Oversee reserve data integrations across internal systems, ensuring accurate and timely data flow into the reserve database
  • Database Administration: Manage and maintain reserve database systems, ensuring security, reliability, and performance
  • Job Scheduling & Monitoring: Coordinate reserve data integration jobs, monitoring for consistency, accuracy, and troubleshooting any data flow interruptions
  • Data Retention Policy: Implement and enforce data retention policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational
  • Reserve Reporting: Develop and maintain reserve reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making across leadership, operations, A&D (Acquisitions & Divestitures), finance, and other departments
  • Leadership Reports: Visualize reserve KPIs and insights for executive decision-making
  • Departmental Reports: Tailor reserve analytics for Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other teams
  • Operations Reports: Monitor operational performance, well productivity, and asset efficiency metrics
  • Dynamics/TA Reporting: Generate transactional analysis reports for case management, call tracking, and sales performance
  • Enertia Insights: Extract and analyze reserve data from Enertia software, producing key financial and operational insights for finance and accounting

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with departmental leads to identify reserve analytical needs, develop reporting solutions, and enhance data-driven decision-making processes
  • Case Management Reporting: Provide case tracking and resolution insights to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Marketing & Sales Analytics: Support marketing and sales teams with reporting to measure campaign effectiveness, customer segmentation, and lead conversion

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in reserve analysis, database management, or a similar role in the oil and gas industry
  • Experience and proficiency utilizing the following software and subscriptions: ARIES, PHDWin, ComboCurve, S&P Global, Enverus, Wellview, WEnergy Joyn.AI, PDS Energy is preferred

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of reserve database architecture and administration
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for process optimization and efficiency
  • Ability to communicate complex insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work with large data sets in Access, SQL, and Excel

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in PowerBI, Spotfire, SQL, and ETL tools; experience with Enertia and Dynamics is a plus
  • Experience and proficiency utilizing the following software and subscriptions: ARIES, PHDWin, ComboCurve, S&P Global, Enverus, Wellview, WEnergy Joyn.AI, PDS Energy is preferred
