Overview:

We are seeking a DevOps Practice Lead to spearhead the strategy, design, and delivery of enterprise-grade DevOps and cloud infrastructure solutions. In this role, you will lead client-facing initiatives and serve as the technical authority in shaping scalable, secure, and automated environments for modern applications. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams and enterprise clients to drive DevOps best practices, foster innovation, and build high-performing delivery capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of DevOps architectures and workflows to support enterprise-scale, cloud-native applications.
• Define and execute DevOps strategies leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Fortify.
• Provide technical direction and leadership across multiple teams and engagements, ensuring alignment with client goals and business outcomes.
• Promote a culture of automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery within development and operations teams.
• Mentor engineers and foster cross-functional collaboration to scale DevOps capabilities across teams and clients.
• Partner directly with client stakeholders to understand technical challenges, define roadmap priorities, and drive adoption of modern DevOps practices.
• Translate complex cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies into clear, actionable plans for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Own the lifecycle of cloud services and infrastructure components, ensuring operational excellence, reliability, and security.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new tools, platforms, and approaches to continually evolve the DevOps practice.
• Document and promote best practices for infrastructure provisioning, cloud-native development, monitoring, and service management.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps engineering, or automation roles, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or practice lead capacity.
• Deep hands-on experience with Terraform and other IaC tools for cloud infrastructure automation.
• Strong expertise in AWS , including architecture, deployment, and service management. Multi-cloud experience (Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Proficient in containerization technologies such as Docker ; experience with Kubernetes is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in designing and building CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions , Jenkins , or similar.
• Experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams, with a strong focus on collaboration, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills; capable of articulating complex DevOps strategies to executive and technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, automation patterns, and modern application architectures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with infrastructure tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, Helm, and Ansible.
• Knowledge of cloud security tools and services: AWS IAM, HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk, etc.
• Familiarity with cloud database services (e.g., AWS Aurora, DynamoDB) and application modernization strategies.
• Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages, preferably Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience working with serverless architectures and functions-as-a-service (e.g., AWS Lambda).

Bonus Points For:

• Expertise in cloud security, container security, and automation at scale across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Understanding of security frameworks and tools such as NIST, OWASP, CIS Benchmarks, SAST, DAST, and SCA.
• Experience in migrating legacy applications to cloud-native environments and managing hybrid-cloud transitions.
