Job Description

About Us: We provide environmental consulting, specializing in permitting and compliance solutions across many industries with a primary focus on serving the aggregate production, sand and gravel processing, concrete batch plant, asphalt plant, and crushing/screening industries. Our services include environmental due diligence, air quality and stormwater permitting and compliance.

Job Description:

As a Environmental Specialist, you will:

· Perform compliance inspections at clients’ sites in various locations across Texas

· Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and policies

· Perform stormwater and wastewater sampling

· Assist with Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWP3), Air Quality Permitting, Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans.

· Develop and coordinate training materials and programs to ensure clients are informed of environmental policies and regulations

· Visit client sites to obtain drainage information and facility site layout

Requirements:

An environmental science or related degree and/or experience in Environmental Compliance Inspections or Environmental Consulting is preferred but not required.

  • You must be comfortable driving several hours each day, with overnight stays, as needed, as well working in the elements on construction and industrial sites.
  • You must have excellent customer service skills as you will be interacting with clients during on-site inspections.
  • Computer literacy, fast typing, and the ability to navigate and use Microsoft Office Suite are required.
  • Must possess a clean driving record and must be able to pass a background check.
