Title : Return Material Authorization (RMA) MANAGER

Salary : 80-85k

Workplace : Ashburn, Virginia (on-site)

Description

The RMA Manager oversees and coordinates the full lifecycle of material returns and service part requests, ensuring timely support to Field Service and Production teams. This role manages returned equipment, sources replacements, communicates with stakeholders, and drives process improvements in the RMA workflow. Let it be noted, this is not a direct supervisory role.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3 years of RMA experience, preferably within a Field Service or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Application, ERP platforms, and other IT tools as trained or required.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid forklift license in accordance with company safety protocols.

Preferred:

  • BA/BS degree preferred but not required.
  • Experience with business analytics software such as Tableau

D2D:

  • Manage RMA Operations: Track, process, and document returned materials from Field Service, Production, and vendors; maintain accurate RMA inventory and ensure timely resolution of open orders.
  • Coordinate Across Teams: Collaborate with Field Service, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Accounting to support part sourcing, material flow, and transaction closure.
  • Ensure Compliance and Accuracy: Perform quality checks, update inventory systems, and follow RMA procedures while identifying process improvement opportunities.
  • Support Logistics and Field Operations: Participate in Mobile Logistics Unit activities, handle material loading/unloading, and communicate delays or issues to stakeholders.

Compensation (direct hire):

$80,000 to $85,000 per year annual salary.
