About the role

Stelic is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to support building automation, EPMS, and low-voltage scopes on a large, multi-building data center program. This role supports a leading systems integrator and works closely with field teams, commissioning teams, and the General Contractor to develop, maintain, and analyze detailed, resource-loaded Primavera P6 schedules. The Site Scheduler ensures accurate progress tracking, logic integrity, critical path visibility, and clear schedule-driven insight through installation and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update discipline-specific Primavera P6 schedules for BMS, EPMS, low-voltage installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Build and maintain detailed activity logic, sequencing, calendars, constraints, and coding structures aligned with field execution and commissioning workflows.
  • Apply and maintain labor and crew-based resource loading to support manpower forecasting, productivity trending, and forward-looking analysis.
  • Coordinate weekly schedule updates with automation engineers, commissioning teams, subcontractors, and GC representatives.
  • Validate percent complete, actuals, remaining durations, and forecasts through direct field engagement and site walks.
  • Integrate discipline-level schedules into the General Contractor’s master schedule and support interface coordination across overlapping buildings.
  • Monitor and maintain critical path and near-critical path activities related to power, controls, and system turnover.
  • Identify schedule risks, logic gaps, and sequencing conflicts and escalate impacts with recommended mitigation actions.
  • Prepare weekly schedule updates and written status narratives suitable for distribution to the systems integrator, owner, and GC.
  • Support lookahead planning, commissioning readiness reviews, and recovery planning discussions as required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of scheduling experience on complex construction or mission-critical projects.
  • Experience supporting data centers, building automation, controls, EPMS, or low-voltage systems strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6, including logic development and resource loading.
  • Strong understanding of installation and commissioning sequencing for power and automation systems.
  • Ability to work directly with field teams to validate progress and realistic durations.
  • Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to explain schedule impacts concisely.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred.

Work Environment

  • Full-time on-site support at a large data center project in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
  • Daily collaboration with automation engineers, commissioning teams, field supervision, and project management.
  • Requires regular participation in coordination meetings and site walks.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary.
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) program.
  • PTO and paid holidays.
