Job Description

As a service technician at Delta Engineering Inc. you will work on site at our facility in Norcross and you'll give customer support on site at customers as well.

Your responsibilities:

At our facility in Norcross:

• Prepare machines for factory acceptance at Delta Engineering
• Prepare machines for shipping o Assembly and set up of automation lines
• Test running machines
• Remote support on machines in the field
• Provide phone/e-mail support to customers all over the US
• Provide feedback to the R&D department
• Composing support manuals and step-by-step procedures

On site at customers

• Onsite support
• Installation of equipment
• Providing Machine Training for customers
• Maintenance on machines in the field

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Good knowledge and understanding of automation and electrical engineering;
• Good software skills (MS Office, internet…); experience with AutoCAD is an advantage;
• Willing to go hands on when it comes to technology;
• Willing to learn and improve skills and knowledge;
• “Can do” mentality;
• Must have good analytical skills to be able to solve problems;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Willing to travel maximum 50% (must be able to obtain a passport);
• Able to work in an international environment;
• Capable of working without sponsorship.
